Born4Dance Scholarship Program

Born (2).png

One of my goals has always been to establish an official dance scholarship program for children in memory of big sister who was murdered when I was 14 years old. I'd always loved dance but when faced with this loss, dance was & continues to be a key piece of my healing process.

My sister was a beautiful person with a beautiful spirit and a beautiful voice! We were a LOT alike (in appearance, personality, and actions) and I am grateful that I still have wonderful memories of her time on this earth.

I'm creating this scholarship program to express gratitude, create joy and opportunities, and also to award $1000 or more for at least 4 children to attend dance classes at Fit4Dance this spring. We've had 3 community classes so far and they've been amazing. The money collected from these classes pays the instructor while the remaining goes towards the scholarship fund. We've raised $200 so far! We only need to raise $800 more dollars to complete my goal to support these talented youth. So please mark your calendar & come out for the remaining classes of 2017!
