Low & Slow w/ A Big Fine Woman
Low & Slow Yoga is based off the Yin Yoga modality which focuses on long-held, passive poses designed to target the deep connective tissues of the body, such as ligaments, tendons, and fascia. Unlike more dynamic and active forms of yoga, yin yoga primarily works on the lower parts of the body, including the hips, pelvis, and lower spine..

Power Flow Yoga w/ A Big Fine Woman
Power Flow is more fitness-based than your average yoga flow. Power flow builds internal heat, increases stamina, boosts strength, increases flexibility, and reduces stress. In this practice, you have the opportunity to use classic yoga poses in such a way that you’ll get a more intense, cardio-driven workout on your mat.

Sacred Sound Bath w/ A Big Fine Woman
A sacred sound bath workshop offers participants an immersive experience combining meditation and healing through sound. Participants lie comfortably while the facilitator plays instruments like crystal singing bowls, Tibetan singing bowls, and gongs, creating harmonic tones and vibrations. Guided by the facilitator, attendees focus on their breath, allowing the sounds to induce deep relaxation and inner peace. As the session progresses, participants may experience emotional release and physical relaxation, with the soothing sounds promoting healing and alignment on a holistic level. Incorporating gentle movement and visualization, the workshop concludes with participants feeling rejuvenated and more connected to themselves and their surroundings.

Sara aka A Big Fine Woman aka she/her. A Texas native but very much Brooklyn. Sh moved to Brooklyn in 2017 and immediately started a yoga practice because as a massage therapist she knew the importance of stretching. Although she started yoga to stretch, she now sees yoga as a way to focus on intentional breathing and releasing pain, discomfort, and trauma from the body. She’s a 200-hour certified yoga instructor and so humbled to guide you beautiful people through practice.
