Dancing Through the Decades is a fun, low impact dance fitness class that will take seniors on a journey in time through dance and music. The dance exercises we will do are an easy way to get moving while also improving balance and coordination, reducing stress, and boosting seniors overall fitness level.By participating in these weekly dance classes, seniors will burn calories, build muscle, improve their cardiovascular condition, and build relationships. Remembering dance steps & exercise combinations will also improve memory skills as well as boosting confidence and self-esteem in participants. This class is suitable for all abilities and will be adjusted based on the participants of the class. Most importantly, this class is fun!
