Rise & Shine Bootcamp w/ April Frazier
A cardio and strength class that mixes calisthenics with cardio and strength training. Varied workout techniques are used including intervals, body weight training, and running. No two classes will be the same but exactly what you need!  

Strength & Stretch w/ April Frazier
Strength & Stretch is a beautiful way to start your Saturday while strengthening and stretching your muscles for dance! The class is a fusion of 30 minutes of Pilates/barre and 30 minutes of luxurious and juicy stretching. Pilates and barre focuses on small movements of high repetition to intentionally tone muscles surrounding your joints while the stretching will lengthen your body beautifully. The class will have you feeling sleek, toned and invigorated.

April was introduced to the beauty of mind body connection through dancing at the age of five. After dancing throughout her life, April has studied yoga,mindfulness, dance and fitness with a focus on social justice and self empowerment through mind body connection for over 10 years. In 2010 she was certified in her 200 HR teacher Dharma Yoga certificationand has since brought yoga into under-performing schools as a means of social justice and peace. She is a NASM certified personal trainer with a background teaching boot camp, Pilates and kickboxing classes. She is also certified in Yoga for 12 Step Recovery, a program that connects the spiritual principles of yoga with addiction recovery. She teaches yoga and meditation in addiction centers in low-income areas throughout New York City. She recently received her leadership training with Off the Mat and Into the World, a program that connects yoga with social justice initiatives. She is extremely thankful to hold space for her students to reconnect with their body and inner teachers through fitness and wellness practices. Living in Crown Heights,she loves how Fit4Dance is for the community and with the community.

Body Sculpt w/ Cassandra Nuamah
You will define, sculpt and build lean muscle. We will be focusing on intense isolation exercises with body weight working your entire body for a fully body workout.Strengthen your core legs and arms, improve your strength, and flexibility while burning fat and calories!


Sensual Stretch w/ Maya Louisa
Sensual Stretch is a total-body stretch class for adults. Stretching gives your muscles the ability to lengthen, to expand and restore after exercise. Stretching also reduces muscle tension, enhances muscular coordination, and increases blood circulation and energy levels.  And of course,  it feels amazing.

Maya Louisa was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. Maya began dancing at the age of three. Eventually training at the Alvin Ailey Junior Division School, she spent High School choreographing and performing to the music of her favorite artist, Aaliyah. Maya holds a degree in Cultural Anthropology and a minor in Dance from Howard University. While at Howard she joined Afro-Cuban dance company, Alafia and toured internationally including Europe, South America, and the Caribbean. She also spent a summer residency with Ballet Hispanico under the direction of Tina Ramirez. Maya holds a certificate of professional development and study from the Board of Education Dance institute based on the Katherine Dunham model. She frequently travels to Cuba to deepen her knowledge of Afro-Cuban dance studying with both Ballet Folklorico Cutumba of Santiago de Cuba, and Cojunto Folklorico Nacional of Havana, Cuba. Maya currently performs and choreographs in both New York City and Los Angeles.

Pilates Mat w/ Azuri
Pilates mat is an open level class geared towards working the muscles in the body in a more efficient manner using your own weight. The exercises are designed to strengthen and lengthen the powerhouse known as the abdominal muscles, lower back muscles, glutes, and hips. Overall supporting your everyday movement along with sculpting the body. 

Vinyasa flow w/ Azuri
This is a 60 minute vinyasa class linking body movements with breath. The sequence will be geared towards using the breath as a meditation to create a space in the mind and heart. This class will focus on balancing strength and flexibility with compassion. Every class will include pranayama, meditation, standing/seated postures, backbends, forward bends, hip openers, spinal twists and inversions. Overall, the asana practice will encourage us to leave class feeling uplifted, grounded, and like our best selves. All practitioners specifically beginners and intermediate are welcomed.
