Meet the Facilitator
Erika Hardaway is an educator, daughter, sister, niece, cousin, auntie, godmother, and friend. Becoming an educator gave her direction and strengthened her ability to hold all other roles in her life with love and care. Erika was a middle and high school Spanish teacher, Dean of students, and curriculum writer. Today, Erika is an Education Consultant and Instructional Coach. She believes that storytelling and freedom dreaming (a term she learned from Dr. Bettina Love's work) is the key to co-creating an equitable world grounded in love and respect. Her mission is to disrupt the impact of systemic racism in and out of educational spaces on children of color.
