Season 1: Young Brother's Circle (YBC): Mind-Full: Growing with Intention

Welcome to Young Brother’s Circle. This season, titled “Mindful, Mind-Full”, is a five week workshop centered around mindfulness, moving with intention, and goal setting, as we discuss our identity and what it means to be a young man. Through a series of guided discussions and collaborative activities, members of the Young Brother’s Circle will leave this season more centered in themselves, develop a deeper appreciation of brotherhood, and gain tools to help them move through the ever changing world with purpose and grace. We look forward to being able to grow with your young people.

The workshops are donation based, and we encourage families to only pay what they can.

Season 1 of Young Brother’s Circle will start on Saturday, October 22nd at 4pm. Please register below. We are doing BIG things this season! Here are the dates:

Justin Lokossou

Meet the Creator & Facilitator

Residing in Harlem, New York by way of Benin, West Africa, Justin Lokossou has spent the majority of his life in the service to students. As a curriculum designer, educator, academic advisor, and fencing instructor  and author, Justin has worked with students from grades K through 12, and has since focused his passion towards working with high school students at a nonprofit educational organization. He enjoys long walks on the beach, riding his bicycle, judo, lying about enjoying walks on the beach (he and sand do not get along, the sand knows what it did), and writing silly biographies about himself. This is silly bio #9.

Justin hopes to bring his love of writing, poetry, fantasy fiction, music and comic culture to members of the Young Brother’s Circle to encourage them to exceed their own expectations of how great they can become.
