We’re excited to welcome Lena Dí to the Fit4Dance family as one of our newest instructors offering community classes!
Born in Brooklyn and raised in Atlantic City, Lena is an international plant-based Holistic Self-Care Consultant and the founder of Lena Dí Wellness LLC, a company dedicated to helping melanated communities prioritize wellness through practical, accessible self-care practices. She holds a BA in Psychology and Communication from Rutgers University, along with certifications in personal training, nutrition consulting, yoga, and meditation.
Lena's journey into holistic wellness began in 2013 after being laid off from her job in social work. What began as a personal transformation evolved into a mission to empower others—particularly youth and adults in underserved communities. Over the past decade, she has brought her self-care teachings to audiences across New Jersey, New York, Central America, the Caribbean, and Africa, working with everyone from retreat participants and athletes to students, educators, and corporate teams.
Her impactful work has been widely recognized: Lena received Stockton University’s SBDC Success Award in 2018, was honored by their School of Business in 2024, and has been featured in two international yoga journals for her research work with cancer survivors. She’s also been spotlighted on Fox 29 Philly, in the Press of Atlantic City, and even appears in a mural inside Atlantic City’s City Hall.
Lena is passionate about helping people live healthier, more intentional lives—and we’re thrilled for the Fit4Dance community to experience her energy and expertise!
